Time Clock Reviews 2026: 88 Time Clocks Compared

Last updated November 1, 2026 by

There are far too many time clocks to choose from, and most "best time clock" lists only cover the handful of companies paying for the placement. So we reviewed every one we could find: tablet kiosks, mobile apps, HR suites, fingerprint readers and even paper punch card machines.

We rank them on what matters when your staff clock in every day: how quick and simple clocking in is, how honest the pricing is once you add the features you actually need, and whether you get locked into proprietary hardware. Prices are in US dollars per month for the plan that includes a time clock.

Disclosure: we make Timeclock.Kiwi, which is included in this list. We built it because the businesses we worked with were unhappy with the alternatives, so read our view with that in mind.
