Some suggestions for hardware setups that you can use to setup a great
Kiosk for cheap.
Buy a cheap tablet. A great bang for your buck device is the Lenovo
P11 (or later) series.
To mount the Kiosk, get a nice sturdy case and screw it to the wall. As it is screwed
to the wall the case doesn't really bend which makes it very hard to
remove the tablet. We tested some anti-theft stands and holders for tablets
but this method works better as the case has a perfect fit and more
securely holds the tablet than an anti-theft stand.
Some clean up work is needed as well as cable management (and the old
timeclock needs taking down) but the setup works really well! The old
timeclock was taken down once everyone had used this one for a few months.
Clock In Instructions
Download a sample of instructions to put on the wall for the first
few days when people are using the timeclock for the first time. It
generally isn't actually needed for people to figure out how to use
it but some people just like having instructions there.
