Our Clockify review
Clockify is one of the best known names in time tracking, and for office teams logging hours against projects it is very good. The free plan is generous for that use case.
As a workplace time clock it is a different story. The kiosk and PIN clock-in start on the Basic plan, breaks also need Basic, timesheet approvals and overtime need Standard, and GPS location tracking and scheduling need Pro. Every plan is priced per seat, so a team of 20 on Standard is paying around $110 a month before you reach the features a shift based business usually wants.
If your staff sit at computers and you bill clients for their time, Clockify is a strong choice. If they clock in at the start of a shift on a shared device, there are simpler and cheaper tools.

Looking for something simpler?
Timeclock.Kiwi was built by people who were fed up with time clocks that take three screens and a training session to use. Staff tap their name and a PIN on any tablet, a photo is taken in the background, and hours export straight to your payroll. You pay per kiosk, not per employee, from $5 a month.
Free for 3 months, no credit card required.
